We have three generations of grey donkeys they are very friendly it's totally safe for you to go into their paddocks or the stables to pet them at anytime. We have given all our donkeys Irish names in line with their origins. The gestation time for donkeys is between 11-13 months. Our experience has been 12 and half months.
Grandmother "Aylish" She is 17 years old and has had several foals with us. We bred her to a full Mediterranean miniature jack and in February 2001 "Erin" was born. How cute is she?
Daughter "Erin" is the most placid donkey we have ever seen. She is 9 years old and has only had one foal in December 2004 the father is a half Mediterranean miniature but fortunately between them produced a miniature sized boy "Wee Murphy"
Grandson "Wee Murphy" is a very shaggy donkey and at 5 years old is fully grown. He is rather mischievous and his Grandmother often disciplines him.
