Willows Reach Lodge unique country retreat homestay with luxurious accommodation

Willows Reach Lodge a hosted farmstay was created to provide a tranquil, retreat setting with superior accomodation surrounded by the charms of the countryside. Our 5 acre lifestyle block in Kumeu near Auckland New Zealand has been described as

              "a little bit of paradise"

Our idea was to offer overseas guests a place to relax and recover from their flight and to return to us again before they left New Zealand. Also for New Zealanders to come to enjoy a unique country atmosphere for a weekend break or for a special occasion.

There is a blend of modern facilities from the artist etched shower doors in the ensuite to the fishing lodge themed guest room which is on the banks of a small lake. The lodge has it's own private access, garden, decks and jetty.

To add to the ambience you can unwind and relax, wandering around the lake, gardens and the surroundings which are part of the English farm concept complete with rustic stables, outbuildings and drystone walls.

You may wish to take your bottle of complimentary wine and sit in the summerhouse and listen to music or go down to the boat shed where you can watch the ducks and geese on the creek.

You have the opportunity to mix and pet with our very friendly donkeys and llamas in their paddocks or at the stables.

Willows Reach is close to several vineyards,cafes and restaurants where you can have your lunch or dinner and we are only 25 minutes to the city of Auckland.

If you are feeling energetic why not play a round of golf at one of the nearby golf courses especially the links course at Muriwai.
