WILLOWS REACH EXOTIC POULTRY

We have had these Reverse Wing Pouter pigeons for 8 years now and they come in several colours. They look magnificent when they take on the wind on windy days looking like miniature Bristol Frieghters!! They come in a variety of colours and are free range like all the birds at Willows Reach.
The Polish bantams have lots of character especially the ones with the frizzle factor gene in them. The roosters head feathers make them look like Rod Stewart and the hens Phyllis Diller. Ours are now just black and white in colour as that is Geoff's favourite. As they are not very good at hatching eggs we have some chinese silky hens to do this job. Their eggs are smaller than hens eggs but the yolks are a good size. We try to serve these to you for breakfast as they taste much better than commercial eggs, the yolks are much darker.
Our original geese were Chinese cross but that has now been diluted down over the years. Gerald is a son of the original flock and has the fawn neck and knob on the top of his beak. His first partner died so we looked for another one and rescued a pilgrim goose who was going to be put down so we named her Lucky. Well it was love at first sight and they have had several babies over the years.
Our ponds and lakes would not be complete without our pekin ducks.
